A struggle that many of us experience in business communication is finding the balance that allows us to be viewed as confident versus arrogant and assertive versus aggressive. Because there is such a fine line between these, it can be very easy to cross. Conversely, those of us so fearful of crossing the line put ourselves in a place that is so passive that it’s completely ineffective. In this week’s Lessons in Leadership, I’m going to talk about how you can avoid crossing the line from confidence to arrogance and communicate effectively as a business leader.
